Dr. Roger B. Elton is a Board Certified Orthodontist

Only 1 in 3 Orthodontists is Board Certified

If you assumed all orthodontists are board certified, you're not alone. But the truth is less than 40% of orthodontists actually take this step to achieve certification. Dr. Roger B. Elton decided to take these extra steps to ensure he provides the most up-to-date techniques and treatments to his clients. It is our mission to carefully align and move your teeth and jaw to help reveal a beautiful, healthy and natural smile.

What It Means to be Board Certified

In addition to dental school and an accredited orthodontic program, Dr. Elton has successfully completed a voluntary, rigorous examination process through The American Board of Orthodontics. This is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and in affiliation with the American Association of Orthodontists.

Why Choose a Board Certified Orthodontist

Orthodontists spend additional years in a highly competitive orthodontic program in order to learn and perfect their specialty. A general dentist is ideal for providing regular oral health check-ups, comparable to your family doctor. Many dentists offer orthodontic treatment, but they do not have the same extensive education required of an orthodontist. As a board certified orthodontist, we are committed to the highest level of patient care including a comprehensive treatment approach to ensure you recieve the care you deserve. And board certified orthodontists must re-new their certification every 10 years to demonstrate their continuous commitment to life long learning and excellence.
